Tonight is the informational meeting about possible merger. This is to present the information that the City and Village has researched regarding updates to the 2002 consolidation study. The goal is to present the information we have found and gauge the public reaction towards continuing the update of the study.
I have received a few calls regarding the meeting from people who believe we are nearly at the point of merger. That is not the case. We are at the point where we have done some initial research on what was wrong with or has changed since the 2002 consolidation study. It is a meeting to discuss whether or not continued study even makes sense.
The meeting is tonight at 7pm at the Pewaukee High School auditorium. I hope to see you there.
